With each days activities Amila explained what the day would entail, expected times and offered any other advice about the town, activity or Sri Lanka itself. I was blown away with the nature of Sri Lanka and how untouched it still looks. Tourism has not overtaken and it can been seen for the country it is. This tour hits on all the main attractions and gives you a taste of every aspect of its beauty. Mountains, waterfalls, rock climbing, temples, beaches, safaris, gem mines and more. This is the tour that just keeps on giving. What made it even more special as an experience of a lifetime was my tour guide. He was polite and respectful, professional at all times as well as having a great sense of humour, friendly and a high level of English. I would highly recommend this tour AND guide to anyone hoping to travel to Sri Lanka.

The itinerary had a nice pace of beaches, nature and cultural activities. Rajh was very flexible in allowing us to add or delete activities based on our interests. The hotels were overall nice and the food was good. We had a memorable trip to Sri Lanka and we highly recommend this company for excellent service!

One tip: the hotels we stayed at mostly used the UK style plugs. At the one hotel that had the D plug, they provided an adaptor so no need to get one of yher rarely used D or M adaptors.

Indika was a careful driver and a thoughtful guide, with a deft sense of timing - avoiding the crowds and several rain showers. Pretty good at taking photos too 😁

The tour itinerary was exactly what I was looking for and each day was filled with the perfect amount of touring. I was looking for a tour that was closer to the week mark (not 2-3 weeks like a lot of other itineraries) that included both Sigiriya and Yala. This did mean that every night was in a different hotel which can be a little tiresome, but worth it so we could see so much of this beautiful country.

Regarding hotels, we upgraded from the basic hotels that are included to the 4 star option. Each hotel was great, all were clean and had comfortable beds, wifi and air conditioning. The hotel in Ella was still under construction so no lift to get up to the 6th floor and all the amenities were in a neighbouring hotel including breakfast and dinner. I was a little sick of stairs by the end of that night! But the staff were so kind and the view out of the balcony across Ella was so lovely. The stand out hotel was the Oak Ray Tea Bush Ramboda. Stunning hotel, incredible view, fantastic shower which also had a view and the staff were so so so lovely. 10/10!

Save the best for last, our guide, Indika. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. We always felt safe and looked after. You are so knowledgeable and clearly have a passion for what you do and that is a pleasure to see. We will cherish the memories of the excitement when we saw our first leopard and laughing until we cried at the fish spa with you. I honestly hope we get to meet again.

To anyone considering this trip, do it. I’m sure all the guides are great but I hope you get my friend, Indika.
